Syngene G:BOX Chemi XRQ for Multifunctional Imaging of Blots and Gels

Syngene G:BOX Chemi XRQSyngene has launched the latest G:BOX Chemi XRQ multifunctional imaging system with latest imaging technology and software to replace its earlier G:BOX Chemi XR5 System. The new system is capable of quick and efficient imaging of a wide range of gel and blot types in an economical manner.

Syngene G:BOX Chemi XRQ’s extensive imaging capabilities can be attributed to the high resolution, high quantum efficiency, low noise 4 megapixel CCD camera that enables the device to visualize and separate bright and faint bands on a gel or blot easily with great accuracy. This versatile device with stylish modular design features motor driven lenses, filter wheel and can accommodate red, blue, green, IR LEDs and transillumination lighting, making it suitable for chemiluminescent western blots as well as standard fluorescence and colorimetric imaging applications.

Like any other G:BOX system by Syngene, G:BOX Chemi XRQ is driven and controlled by the company’s proven GeneSys software. GeneSys software provides an easy to use, intuitive touch interface that guides users through image set-up, assisted by its exhaustive database of imaging conditions for a large number of commercially available dyes. The software optimizes lighting and filters in accordance with the system’s hardware specifications.  Researchers just have to choose gels or blots, select sample type and the software automatically sets up the lighting and filters to produce sharp and clear blot or gel images. Frequently used image settings can be saved and recalled with one click for faster imaging. GeneSys can be used in both automatic and manual modes. All these features makes G:BOX Chemi XR5 system a truly versatile, efficient, fast and an economical system for multifunctional imaging.
